Day 9 – Keld to Reeth

Local couple who put us on the right path and showed us the waterfall.

Susan navigating!

3 wise ladies on a narrow bridge

Scary drop either side!!
All that was left of previous hikers….
Its a good job I’m skinny innit!
Finger lickin good!!
On the homeward stretch now having passed the midway point yesterday at Ravenseat Farm, home of the Owen Family. Today was a quieter day, just a 12 mile stroll from Keld, high up in Swaledale, down to Reeth, a delightful Yorkshire Dales town that has a shop selling Brymor ice cream and the pub in which we are staying that has open fires and Theakston Old Peculiar. Absolute heaven after a day’s walk.
